Introduction

While the Live Value Calculator provides an overall view of each fixture, the Live Value Shortlists tool is specifically designed for researching bets and trades.

It's very easy to use and will save many hours of your valuable time.

In this lesson, I'm going to show you exactly how the Live Value Shortlists tool works.

It's much shorter than the previous lesson as you already know a lot of the features!

Bet Types

Firstly, we have split the 10 bet types that you read about in the last lesson into 4 groups:

1H Home/Away - First Half Home and Away Wins
1H Goals - First Half Over 0.5 and 1.5 Goals
Full Game Home/Away - Full Game Home and Away Wins
Full Game Goals - Full Game Over 1.5, 2.5, 3.5 and Both Teams to Score (BTS)

When you select a tab, you will see the full fixture list for the day ahead.

Filter by Ticks/Crosses

Most filters are the same as the Live Value Calculator.

However, the 'Filter by Ticks/Crosses' button is displayed a little differently here. Instead of all bet type rows showing, you will only see those relevant to the specific tab you have selected.

For example, when you select the tab '1H Home/Away' you will see filter options for '1H Home' and '1H Away' win rows only.

Now... this is where the Live Value Shortlists start to save you a lot of time.

If you click '1/3/10' on the '1H Home' row, you instantly see all fixtures that have 3 green ticks in the '1H Home' column.

Even better, they are sorted by the percentage of first half home wins from high to low.

Click on any other column heading to sort from high to low (and again if you want low to high).

With just a couple of clicks, you have a list of the best performing home teams in the first half that also have perceived value in the Betfair price.

Easy!

You will notice that the stats relating to the selected filter are in bold. This is especially useful on the 'Full Game Goals' tab that has a lot of numbers!

When you select a new filter, the list of fixtures is automatically updated.

Quick and Easy Research

You'll realise the true value of this tool once you start using it.

Remember, you can click on any team name to display the Score Table. You can also add fixtures to 'My Games' as you go and add Notes.
